Bookeper
AI Accounting AgentAutonomous accounting with a full source trail
Bookeper builds an autonomous AI accountant for Polish sole proprietors. Language models read and classify invoices and explain their decisions. Deterministic tax engines built on official Ministry of Finance and ZUS formulas calculate taxes and contributions and cite the legal basis for every figure. Tax and social insurance filings are prepared for the user to approve before submission. Yaroslav Krempovych founded the company, having previously been Investment Director for AI and data at Movens Capital.

Closare
Logistics Operations AIOperational intelligence for logistics operators.
Closare builds an AI operations layer for logistics operators in Central and Eastern Europe, running on top of the TMS, WMS and telematics systems they already use. A deterministic monitoring layer flags exceptions against contracts, rate cards and delivery windows. An LLM layer then investigates each case, gathers missing evidence and completes the work, from document matching to detention claims, once an operator approves. Mateusz Siejewicz-Winek founded the company, having previously been Director of Engineering at Packhelp.

Decreen
Architecture Maps & GuardrailsLive system maps from your codebase
Decreen builds living architecture maps for engineering teams working with AI coding agents. A local package lets a coding agent read the repository and produce a structured model of its services, modules, dependencies and boundaries, without the source code leaving the machine. The team is extending this to architectural rules that engineers approve and that every pull request is checked against. Alina Powala co-founded the company, having previously been Chief Product Officer at QED Software. She holds a PhD in AI from the University of Warsaw.

lumika
Automotive AI Front OfficeEvery conversation. One intelligent system.
Lumika builds AI for car dealerships. Its BDC product brings AI agents and human sales teams into one workspace for inbound response, follow up and appointments, on top of the dealer's existing CRM and DMS. A separate API unifies messaging, SMS, voice and email channels behind it. Through Dealer Handshake and its open Auto Agent Protocol, Lumika also makes dealer inventory readable to AI assistants such as ChatGPT. Alex Yankouski, Andrei Misiukevich and Yahor Sheinikau founded the company, coming out of engineering leadership roles at Space Auto.

Lute
Physical AI RoboticsBuilding the robotics workforce of the future.
Lute builds a deployment platform for physical AI, putting low cost robot arms and mobile humanoids from hardware partners to work in logistics, manufacturing and retail. It pairs the hardware with current robot foundation models and a deployment loop that combines navigation, spatial memory, manipulation and human feedback, so the robots improve through real work. Pawel Budzianowski and Krzysztof Walas founded the company. Budzianowski previously led machine learning at PolyAI and co-founded K-Scale Labs. Krzysztof Walas is an assistant professor of robotics at a technical university in western Poland.

Mediflo AI
AI Medical Contact CenterConfirmed appointments, answered calls, a calmer front desk.
Mediflo builds an AI contact center for Polish clinics, where front desk staff, Polish speaking voice bots and website chat share one hotline. The bots confirm, reschedule and cancel appointments and answer calls at peak times and after hours. They hand harder cases to staff with full context, and every outcome is written back into the clinic's existing medical records system. Michal Rokita founded the company, having previously been Head of Engineering at Funtico.

Primio
AI Mobile App BuilderThe Fastest Way From Idea to App Store
Primio, formerly Darvin, builds an AI app builder that turns a prompt into native iOS and Android apps written in Flutter. It covers the full path to the app stores: emulators streamed to the browser, server side signed builds that need no Mac or Xcode, automated checks against App Store and Google Play policies, and store listing assets. Sebastian Szczygiel, Jacek Nijaki and Grzegorz Tarczynski founded the company. Szczygiel and Tarczynski previously held senior roles at Huuuge Games, where Szczygiel was CMO.

Sentinel Eagle
GNSS-Denied Drone NavigationAutonomy where GPS fails. Intelligence where it matters.
Sentinel Eagle builds autonomous surveillance and mapping drones that hold course and position using vision alone, without relying on satellite signals that can be jammed or denied. Its aircraft launches by hand, carries interchangeable sensor payloads for mapping, day and infrared surveillance, and is built from parts that can be reprinted in the field rather than shipped in. Flight data is encrypted on board, and a launch point can be falsified before takeoff, so a downed aircraft gives away nothing about where it came from. Its founder is Marek Cygan, an assistant professor at the University of Warsaw who previously co-founded warehouse robotics company Nomagic and led the university's robot learning lab before turning to autonomous defence systems.

Spectre Legal
Litigation Strategy AIConnect the facts. See the whole case.
SPECTRE Legal builds a case strategy platform for law firms. It reads an entire case file, including scans, and connects facts, evidence, dates and the parties' positions into a traceable picture of the case. It highlights contradictions and likely counterarguments and matches relevant statutes and case law. The lawyer chooses a strategy, and the system drafts the brief in Word. Maciej Guz and Natan Dopieralski founded the company.

striga
AI Code SecuritySource code auditing built on artificial intelligence.
Striga builds AI source code auditing that runs on open weight models, including inside a customer's own infrastructure. It maps an application's architecture and attack surface, combines trained ML models with static analysis, and validates each finding with a working proof of concept exploit before reporting it. Its research has surfaced vulnerabilities in widely used open source projects, including Apache httpd, Tomcat, n8n and Ollama. Bartlomiej Dmitruk co-founded the company, coming out of security research at ISEC.

As early-stage VCs, most companies we look at are early, some pre-inception. To properly capture the formation layer, we looked back no more than 18 months from a company's founding, and no more than one institutional round raised.
We believe getting to the core truth of a company radiates from the founding team, and that those signs show up long before a company has its breakout success. So we got on the ground, city by city, talking directly to the ecosystem leaders, university professors, angels, operators and micro VCs who see these companies before anyone else does. The names that kept coming up independently, before they showed up anywhere public, were what we went after.
Every one of those names, alongside thousands of other companies we track a year, went through the same internal scoring model: the scale of impact the company could have globally, how genuinely AI-native the product is, the strength of the thesis, and the team, their talent density, where they've built before, how deep that experience really runs. We ended up with ten companies per city that we believe combine all of the above, while capturing the city's own heartbeat and the themes defining it.

What Warsaw builds
On raw volume most European cities look alike. Character only appears once each theme is compared with a typical European city. Every company now carries a category and sub-theme. Pink marks the categories where Warsaw differs most; provisional comparisons rest on fewer than 10 companies and are never the lead claim.
Above the line means this city forms more of something than a typical European city does. Below means less.
